The capabilities of Azure administrators
If you have completed the Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate course, you will have the wide range of skills that characterise Azure Administrators. You will be able to describe, implement, manage and monitor infrastructure components and subscriptions of the Microsoft Azure Cloud. You know the essential elements of Azure and have the skills to perform practical configurations in the Microsoft Cloud. Migrating servers to Azure and understanding the networking technology in the Microsoft Cloud is also something you will have acquired. And you know how to implement Azure Application Services and secure Azure identities.
The five core themes
In terms of content, the four-day Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate course has these five focal points:
- Azure subscription management
- Implementing storage solutions
- Creating, scaling and managing virtual machines
- Configuring and managing virtual networks
- Implementing Azure Active Directory (AD)
Professional know-how is a prerequisite
Participation in the programme is subject to conditions: In addition to specialist know-how, it is a prerequisite that you have already gained practical experience in a professional IT environment. For example, you are MCSA Windows Server 2016 certified and now want to tackle the “step into the cloud”. The Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate course is not suitable for beginners without prior knowledge. The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) course, which you can also take at the IBAW, serves as ideal preparation. It teaches the basics of cloud services and Microsoft Azure.
Optional examination at the IBAW
This official Microsoft course takes place under the guidance of a certified Microsoft Trainer (MCT). The language of instruction is German, but the original Microsoft documents are currently only available in English. At the end of the Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate course , all participants receive a Microsoft Achievement certificate of attendance – regardless of whether they pass the examination. The optional Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator can be taken at the IBAW. The cost of this examination is not included in the price.
