The University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and the IBAW have entered into an exclusive cooperation for this course of study. You will thus benefit from entering the 6th semester of the Bachelor of Science (BSc) part-time programme in Business Administration. This saves you a year of study time compared to the traditional transfer. You will need, however to pass additional modules during the HFW programme.

Of course, other doors are open to you after graduation. For example, a postgraduate course at a higher professional school (NDS HF), a CAS or MAS course or a higher professional examination.

The HFW part-time study programme is particularly suitable for committed individuals from various industries and age groups with the following educational backgrounds:

Our course of study is marked by exciting business simulations, a high level of practical relevance through case studies, practitioners as lecturers, project work and an attractive mix of different learning assessments. Ambitious students who voluntary attend the additional modules required for accelerated transfer to the UASNW usually work 70 – 80% part-time.

You have the necessary knowledge to effectively contribute to a Scrum project as a member of the Scrum team. But the know-how you acquire also puts you in a position to interact with a Scrum team from the outside. Furthermore, you will know the differences between agile and traditional project management methods.

The two-day Scrum Developer Certified course gives you a good overview of what Scrum actually is. You will also explore the history of Scrum, Scrum principles as well as the aspects and processes involved in Scrum. You will gain specific insight into the roles and functions in Scrum teams. Furthermore, the scalability of agile methods – of course with a focus on Scrum – is on the programme. The IBAW Scrum Master course teaches you the most important principles of Scrum. After the two days, you can assess whether the Scrum project management approach is suitable for your company. This means that you know how Scrum works and that you are able to use it in your company. You can start and coordinate your first Scrum projects independently. This does not only apply to new projects: you should also be able to apply what they have learned to existing projects and thus improve them.
