Are you interested in programming and current web technologies? Then this course of study is right for you. Upon completion, you will work as a web developer and be an expert in HTML/CSS, JavaScript and AJAX. You install and configure web hostings and keep websites up to date with the help of a CMS.

Requirements
Independence and discipline are required for the Web Developer NDK HF course of study. The programme draws on blended learning techniques, a combination of online and in-person teaching. Around 25 % of the programme is taught in the classroom, i.e. in-person teaching on site. Accompanied e-learning makes up the larger part at around 75 %. Course materials are almost all available online.
You can register for the postgraduate course Web Developer if you meet the following admission requirements:
- Knowledge of English, at least level B1: The language of instruction is German, but many learning materials are only available in English.
- You have a Swiss federal diploma (professional examination), a federal degree (higher professional examination) or a degree from a higher professional or technical school. Or you can show that you have completed a university degree.
- Admission as a mature student: Provided that you demonstrate qualified knowledge, admission is also possible without the required qualifications.
- Bring your own device: You use your own device for the lessons.
Special feature
The Web Developer NDK HF qualification corresponds to the second of three modules of the Master in Web Engineering degree programme.
The Master’s degree in Web Engineering is awarded to those who complete the three postgraduate courses Web Designer*in, Web Developer and Web Engineer.
