The IBAW is a brand owned by Miduca PLC, which belongs to the Migros Group. An eight-member advisory board with representatives from business and science supports the IBAW in strategic issues. Challenges and future prospects for the IBAW and for Switzerland as a business location are assessed and corresponding recommendations for the business strategy are made. In doing so, the committee engages in exchange with key players in favour of work/study programmes in Switzerland in an effort to counter the shortage of skilled workers in Switzerland. The members are elected by the IBAW management for a period of two years and they meet once or twice a year.
