Which IBAW further education courses are eligible for subsidies?
How much are the subsidies?
The cantons that are parties to the HFSV determine the amount of the per-semester subsidy per student. These subsidies are determined on the basis of cost surveys at the colleges of higher vocational education and training.
What do graduates have to bear in mind?
To determine which canton is liable for payment, you will need to complete a personal data sheet before the start of your studies. You will receive this from IBAW after you register.
You must return the completed and signed personal data sheet to us together with a confirmation of residence no older than three months at the start of the programme. We will then forward your documents to the canton responsible for you for examination. If your application is approved, you will benefit from the reduced participation fee. Please note that the amount of the cantonal subsidy is reviewed every two years and redefined by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK). The amount of the cantonal subsidy may therefore change during your further education course.
